BJP state president Nalin Kumar Kateel said that our party will not tolerate and will not accept anti-national activities like terrorism, criminal activity and hooligan politics.

Speaking at the BJP state office Jagannath Bhavan, he said, "I have noticed that we participated in some program earlier. I have asked for an explanation about that. I have made it clear that people with criminal backgrounds will not be admitted to the party for any reason. He said that he will end this matter here.

Commenting on the nomination of rowdy-sheeter Manjunath alias Uppi for the Sanekal municipal elections by the BJP, Kateel said that in the political system there are some natural indiscretions. All cannot be said to be criminal cases. I am not justifying it as such. He said that all the cases against him should be checked.
